Summary

Adds the Ubuntu server setup script that prepares the sync destination server.

Changes

  • Creates /data/jingtian/BenjaminTeam directory structure matching client layout
  • Creates dedicated rclone-sync user for SFTP access (security isolation)
  • Generates ed25519 SSH key pair for Windows clients to authenticate
  • Installs rclone on the server (useful for debugging)
  • Outputs private key at the end for embedding in Windows setup

Usage

# On the Ubuntu VM
sudo bash ubuntu/setup.sh

Next Steps (after merge)

  1. SSH into Ubuntu VM and clone repo to /data/jingtian/BenjaminTeam/_LLM_Sync/code
  2. Run the setup script
  3. Copy the generated private key to windows/rclone-key
  4. Create Windows setup script (next PR)
